I had a new honey comb core put in my 26 Chevy roadster. The shop that did the work told me they had several old radiators in storage. The one they showed me they thought came from a 1928 or 1932 Dodge. I disagree but I am not knowledgeable in that area.

I know this is a Chevy forum. I made the same post at the AACA forum and got no responses so I figured I'd try here.

If we can ID it the man said he would sell it. He also said he would make sure it was in good condition before any sale.

Here are a few pictures to see if anyone can help ID it. I have more and can take as many as needed.

The only marking on the radiator was a number: 382984

There is a tag on the top but it says "Baton Rouge Radiator" The man says it was in the shop before he took it over, 20+ years ago.

I was hoping someone would identify this, it is a very interesting design. I would guess that the hole in the upper tank must be to clear a horizontal support of some type.

It's not a Chevy, we can be pretty sure of that. Maybe you should post it on the forums at AACA.org? You would get a much wider exposure to people who know other makes of cars, that might be able to identify it.

The owner said he was told the hole was for a support but that would make for a rather large support.

I did post this on the AACA forum and have yet to recieve a single response.

The man has quite a few old radiators. What it would take for him to attempt to ID tem is not known. He said it would take a good deal of time. He did say he has one he thinks is for a 63 **** Galaxie.

I beleive it is a radiator from a farm tractor. The hole in the top is where the steering shaft went through.
