My '41 Chevy Coupe has the gas cap on the right side of the car. At the car shows, I haven't noticed any other cars with this feature. Most are on the rear of the car. What other cars have the gas cap on the side of the car? Just curious. Thanks,

Dan.

Hey 41chevcoupe6,

I have a 1940 Chev cuupe and it has the gas tank placed like yours. My car is a Special Deluxe Business Coupe. Emphasis on Business Coupe. Mine has no back seat and the gas tank is a bit larger than the 4 passenger coupe.

All 41 Business Coupes had the gas tank filler on the RH side quarter panel. You should have embosed cardboard liners inside the back seat area (no seat cushions in rear area)

34 & 35 trucks are the greatest. 36 high cabs are OK too.

I know about the Chevy's. My question was directed toward what "other cars" (other makes of cars), for example: ****, Mopar, etc. Thanks,

Dan.
