I put the hood back on my 1941 special deluxe and noticed the the hood alignment was off a little bit. There doesn’t seem to be any adjustment that can be done because of the way it bolts on. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks, Bob

Did you take off the hinges? If you did it is possible to install the passenger side hinge on the driver's side and visa versa. The fit is off and unadjustable if you made this mistake. Fine adjustments for the purpose of alignment of the space between the firewall and hood must be made with the hood springs off. Follow the manual for best advice, and read through this old post:
41 Hood Alignment.

This article has advice on how to not get your hood stuck in the locked position, a must read!!!

Good luck, Mike
