I want to install air shocks on the rear of the 54 convert,does anybody know the make and part number?Thanks in advance.

I would not recommend installing air shocks on a 1949-1954 due to the fact that the top of the shock mounts to the trunk floor which is not strong enough to support the load.

I installed the air shocks the upper mount goes through a sheet metal triangle before it terminates in the trunk floor.I welded a heavy steel plate to the triangle with a hole for the rubber shock bushing to seat,now the load is spread out over a larger area I think this should work time will tell.
