This will replace the worn out 327 we were going to rebuild. Turns out the cam was round and the block and one head were cracked.
.030 over 350 - makes it 355 c.i.d., 4-bolt main, blue printed, roller cam, aluminum flat top pistons, new heads 9.5/1 to 10/1 compress ratio, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock aluminum 650 4-barrel, rams horn exhaust manifolds (I just like the look), flowmaster exhaust, electronic ignition. End result should be 375 to 400 h.p. That's 50 to 75 more than my wife's WS6 Trans Am and 30 to 55 less than my 2012 Corvette Grand Sport. Backed up with the original M-20 Muncie. I'm going to put the SS hubcaps on the shelf and put on some 8X15 American Torque Thrust wheels with redline Tiger Paw radial tires. Adding front power disc and power steering and some beefy swaybars and new shocks. This freaking car will scream and yet behave and be a great driver.

Sounds like you are putting all the good bits in there but I think it wont used to its full capability in a Malibu, be more use in my Holden work truck. Tony
Like all here on Chat You are welcome to visit at any time, just let me know when you are coming. If the road trip didnt include 14,000 miles of submarine road I have no doubt the Malibu/Chevelle would be fine but in any case I doubt it will get back to the US (I will make sure of that bit). Tony
Fired this bad boy up today! OMG! I wish I could upload a video with sound. The power front disc brakes and power steering are done. The car has all new wiring headlights to taillights. The original gauges are being checked and adjusted. The original clock is being replaced with a factory in dash tach. When the gauges are done it will be ready for a break in drive to Sebring for my daughter's 50th bday party. I can't wait to get it on the road with the top down and wind in what's left of my hair! I've got some better pictures but they're too large to attach.
