What where the color options for 1931 window garnish? Was the deluxe garnish woodgrained mahogany with the diamond emblem similar to 1930? Also did deluxe garnish cars also have the decorative inserts in the dash.

Yes, the deluxe interior had the extra triangular piece below the windows and all garnish molding (except around the windshield) was wood-grained. The standard interior did not have the triangular pieces and was black.

As for the decorative insert, I assume you are talking about the engine turning decal? The decal was used on certain models of car, which did not necessarily have deluxe interiors, Special Sedan, Sport Coupe, Laundau Pheaton, Cabriolet and 5-passanger coupe.

Decorative piece around the gauges with deluxe interiors? Did the lower triangular garnish have a diamond painted on it as well as the wood grain similar to 1930. I have a photo sample of a 1930 garnish as a reference but I do not know how to add to this post.

I believe the engine-turned decal was also available as a dealer-installed accessory for those models that did not come with it from the factory, but I can't remember where I saw that. Probably somewhere in the service news.

All the best, Chip

Chip,
This is listed in the parts manual as a separate sale item.
