A few days ago I ask about weatherstrip for my !937 Chevy about a gentlemen who sells it anyway I found weatherstrip for the car and found out not that it has clips and it looks like the clips hold in the weatherstrip on the door So my question is there holes in the door to hols the rubber in place ??? The guy I bought the car from has this rubber house hold rubber strip glued to the door that I know is Wrong any Help out there ,

Yes there are holes around the door. The bottom piece also has a small metal plate held by a screw in each corner. This fits inside the loose ends of the lower piece of weatherstrip.

Chevs of 40's or The Filling Station sell the clips and the end pieces.

so is there weather stripping on the top of the door and runs down the side ? Then there is a different weather strip on the under the bottom of the door 2 different types

Yes one piece on sides and top and a 2nd piece across bottom.
