Does anyone have close up pictures or any teck specks for the proper trunk lid alignment for a 29 roadster?
Thanks,
Chuck

If it's like the lid on my Cabriolet it overhangs the opening all around so as long as it is centered fore and aft as well as side to side?

Thanks cabboy! That is what I needed to know. I'm in the process of building the body all measurements suggest the lid rests on top of the quarters, not flush like my 34 roadster.

There are two metal brackets on the side of the drip rails. These are supports for solid rubber plugs drilled into the curved wood framework of the deck lid. There are 2 more solid rubber plugs down in the wood cross member the trunk latch is mounted in. That is what the deck lid rests on instead of the top of the quarters. Do those show up in your restoration notes? Art
