This has been addressed in the past, but I need help with my eBay searches.
When I search for 1925 Chevrolet parts, I get about 9,500 parts, which only a hand full are actually for a 1925 Chevrolet.
Most of the parts (such as a decal reading, I love my basset hound) say, (Fits 1925 Chevrolet)
Can someone suggest how to do an eBay search to exclude the words, (Fits 1925 Chevrolet)

What about blocking "fits 1925 Chevrolet" if you put "- Fits 1925 Chevrolet" in your search list it might eliminate some of them. a minus sign "-" removes things from the search list.

You could also put an ad in the 'Parts Wanted' forum here and our Chevy nut family can check their basements for the parts that you are looking for.

ad "-fits" to your description, eg "1925 Chevrolet -fits". you can put a minus before any keyword to get the search to ignore it.

IMFALCO, click on the word Advanced beside the blue Search box, and in the Exclude Words From Your Search box, type in "fits", click on Search below that. This will take you from 10,100 search results to 723 results.

You need to define the search parameters to Vintage car parts category As this weeds out all modern parts and clothing etc, Ray
