It is is the owners manual On page 37 of my 1946 manual so a 1947 should be on the same page.
parking lamp #63 bulb if no turn signals
Parking lamp and tail light 1154
licenseight #63
Ignition lock light and high beam light #51
Instrument lights #55
dome light #82

Rather than install new bulbs i WOULD JUST KEEP SPARES IN THE GLOVE BOX SO YOU HAVE A SUPPLY HANDY.

The 1154 is themost frequently needed bulb.

Hello Chev Nut: Thank you for the information.I looked in my '42-'48 shop manual and could find the chart. Next step is locate a 1947 owner manual.

You can purchase a copy of the 1947 owners manual from the Filling Station for a few bucks.

You can get double the candle power of your dash lights by using a #316 bulb. It's 4cp as opposed to the 2cp of the #55. The bulb is a tad longer but should fit your dash OK. I've got them in my '38 and '53.

not 1947 but i took the information for my 1929 out of my manual and part list books and dumped them into excel sheet and use that as a quick reference. also listed alternate/modern bulbs and LED bulbs in the chart plus other technical info, candle power, socket/bayonet type, watt/amps.
simple clean format wink

also did this for my tune-up info, and gasket reference, and other 1929 stuff, guess just the geeky engineer in me.

plus i can print it as small or as large as i want too
