Hi All!
I am in search of a replacement radiator for my 1937 Chevy coupe. I am keeping my '37 original and would rather not buy an aftermarket aluminum radiator if at all possible, and I also have a limited budget as I am trying to get the car mechanically sound enough to use in our wedding mid July. Can anyone help me find one that won't kill my budget? Thank You

Check out Filling Station located in Lebanon, OR. or Chevs of the Forties in Vancouver, WA www.fillingstation.com, www.chevsoftheforties.comI believe they carry original style reproduction copper/brass radiators. Also check with your tech advisor if you're a VCCA member. He/she may be able to hook you up with an original or NOS/NORS radiator. Good luck

I've seen a couple really nice NOS 1937 rads on Ebay this week. Around $200 each I think.

My local radiator shop had listings for most vehicles sold in Aus and was able to get a very close copy of the radiator I took out of my 38, was rather pricey though. Tony

All good info however the OP posted in May and wanted the car operable in July. Would be nice to know how his search went but this appears to be another case of "post and run".

Thank you all for the replies. I did find a radiator in time to get the car road worthy for the wedding. It was a wonderful day and if I could figure out how to post pics on here I would share. Also sorry for the lack of an update as thing were a bit crazy coordinating an out of state wedding.

Photos can only be posted directly on Chat by VCCA members otherwise they need to be linked or sent to someone that has posting ability . Glad it worked out for you. I got to use my car in my daughters wedding so I know how great a treat it is.
