Hi there, Wanting to know what the rear mounted spare tyre clamp looks like on 1929 Chev Holden body (Australian built) Any pics would be greatly appreciated.
Here you go! The tire carrier was part of the chassis so shouldn't matter where body came from. Here are three pictures. It is held in place with same heavy hex nut as the rim clamps for the wheels. About 1/4" thick.
Mine was missing on my coupe when I got it in 2001, so I took the liberty to manufacture a new one that is large enough to place a reproduction radiator emblem on it. Not original but I like it. Gary Wallace has some original type based on his online parts list.
