OP Mark_Gregush Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 145 Portland Oregon	What years did the 490 use the main shaft that was made with the gear as part of it? I have a steering column assembly that was told is 490 and looks like others I have see. The others that I have seen the internal parts, the part in question, looks be be assembled to the shaft not part of it. Last edited by Mark_Gregush; 05/05/20 12:20 PM.

Thanks for that information. I have seen 490 boxes that the shaft looked to be separate part from the gear.
