The drivers window on my 46 has been steady going down further, when I close the door and now it just about goes all the way down. Any one know the fix?

My 1st guess (and that is all it is), have a look at the clock spring in the mechanism as it most likely broken. Tony

The window regulator needs inspection, maintenance and as Tony suggested the spring likely needs replaced. I had to rebuild these on my ”˜46 during its recently completed restoration. Nearly complete disassembly of the door components is necessary to accomplish the task, unfortunately.

Keith, I have an assortment of those clock springs. If you need one, or two, I might be able to help.
