Is anyone familiar with a system of prop rods/struts-not requiring a reengineering of the car- to use on 46 -48 model cars? I'm about ready to give up on rebuilt hood hinges/adjustments that wont stay in place-especially when springs are reinstalled that require me to guide the hood carefully in place etc. I'm ready to just use a center prop rod like I see the hot rod crowd use. Thanks

When the Mrs. isn't looking grab her broom and cut the stick off for your prop. Don't tell her I'm the one who told you to do it though.
