Hello: I have a 1929 stock Chevy and the temperature gauge seems to not work! I would like to ask all the persons that have had the problems I have ,to tell me how to test the system to see if it is the gauge or the sending unit! Do I ground the wire to the gauge or engergize it to get a reading??
ANY help, advice, suggestions or technical date(OHMS) readings voltage feed back--etc will help.

The August and September 2014 G&Ds have an article that describes this electric heat gauge system that was used only for that one year.

Make sure you have a good ground connection. Billy Possum has the sending units.
