I'm still working on "re-assembling" a 1933 Master 5 window Coupe that was dis-assembled in the mid-1960's and in storage until two years ago when I pulled it out. I did get a lot of the parts from the car but figuring out what some of them are and where they may go has been interesting. I am at the point of finishing the engine installation and today was carb day. Great until I got to the throttle cable. I have the cable with I think the correct bracket, but I can't for the life of me see what it connects to. The bracket appears to be such that it should "fit" on one of the carb/manifold studs. I know I'm probably missing something simple but I'm stuck. 'would appreciate some direction.
The bracket should mount on the carburetor above the throttle rod and go down threw the rod to hold it on the throttle arm and have a stop that is held on by a screw so that the arm can move free on the cable. When the cable is pulled it pulls up on the throttle arm. It is kind of hard to explain hopefully someone will have a picture.
Thanks for the responses and the picture; It's "bed time" here now, but tomorrow will give me another chance to resolve. I'm not real clear on where the bracket goes but it may be obvious when I line things up
