My limited research skills turned up nothing. I have a 54 3100, still mostly original and I want to keep moving in that direction. I am trying to find valve cover washers in the original shape, but I can't find any pictures to try and track them down. Does anyone know where I can get good reproductions or even originals? If not, maybe a picture or 2 with dimensions. Anything to help me move this along is appreciated. Thanks.

Did you check out the 1955-57 vendors? They have them but I am not sure about the shape.

Best I recall, they are a rounded edged diamond shape.

They were kind of half moon shaped. The parts books lists the same for both 6 and V-8 engines.

Try Truck Shop part# 55-08114. It may be listed for a V-8 but it looks like the shape in your picture. 54-08113 is for a 6 cyl. And 55-081141 is for a V8.

That is what a V-8 looks like also. Probably a different number because a V-8 comes with eight.
