I'm on rewiring my Chevy. So I put in a 7-wire Sigflare Signal stat 900. The wiring is as described here.
http://www.fatfenderedtrucks.com/scans/signal_1.jpg
For the ground I have installed an extra cable, because the steering column is painted and I am afraid not to get a good ground with the clamp.
I used this one as a flasher
https://www.oldtimerbedarf.de/media...linkrelais-12v-94w-4-x-21w-2-x-5w~3.jpg.
If I connect to X +12V, to L the yellow cable and to P the blue cable, everything works as it should, but the indicator light doesn't work.
Change the yellow cable to P and the blue cable to L, the indicator light flashes in every position but no Turn Signal works.
Connect the yellow and the blue cable to L and X to +12V, the Turn Signals work and the Pilot light to, but it flashes in every position?
Now I tried all 9 combinations, nothing works. Anybody got any ideas?

The short answer is the flasher is probably bad, or the wrong one.

Some of that documentation seems to be for positive ground (positive earth). All Chevrolets were negative ground when built, as far as I know. Is yours positive ground now?

Most 6 volt 3-pin flashers (USA) provide a flashing signal on the third pin. It's only purpose is to provide a a blinking voltage for an indicator that will work with either direction of signaling. The indicator bulb is usually grounded to the housing of the switch.

Most 12v flashers (USA) have 2 pins and do not support the single indicator. The 3 pin would be less common. The link you have provided looks like it should be the correct type, as near as I can tell.

I also notice you are in Germany, and if I remember correctly, the 3 pin flasher from a 6 volt Porsche 356 intermittently grounds the 3rd pin to blink the indicator rather than intermittently connecting it to voltage. I wonder if the flasher you have uses this standard rather than the American one?

If the flasher has markings, "L" (load) is for the signal lights themselves, and should go to the switch. "P" (pilot?) is connected to the indicator bulb.

Assuming the car is negative ground, if you provide positive voltage to the indicator wire (while it is disconnected from the flasher), the indicator should come on. That proves the indicator is OK.

No, of course the Chevy also has negative ground. The description of the flasher is a bit misleading, because it is only described for positive mass. On the website
https://www.oldtimerbedarf.de/Warnblinkrelais-12V-94W-4-x-21W-2-x-5W
however is described, that installation is possible at positive as well as at negative mass.
It almost looks as if a positive voltage has to be applied to the bulb.
Will phone the seller today

If all lights flash then power is being supplied to the ground terminal which is common to all lights. Might be a positive ground only flasher which will not work on a negative ground system. What happens when the case is not grounded?

Today i tested another relais with 4 Poles. X,P and L is the same but the fourth one is grounded. Now it works yay

According to the dealer, the 3 pole relay should also work with negative and positive ground. After I spent 2 hours testing today, I can't believe it.
