They supply upholstery materials-fabric-vinyl- leather and some door panels and headliners . They are located in Canby Or.

There was no date specified in the Email it simply said it was a Covid-19 special and they hoped it would not last long and seeing Covid is still around perhaps the special is also. .

I've been extremely pleased with SMS interiors I've installed in our 50 Olds 88 ad my daughter's 50 chevy restorer-mod convertible. although the materials they use aren't close to the original materials in the olds and chevy, they fit well and the costs aren't unreasonable, mike mccagh

Mike, do they have patterns for the kits? Do you just call and say you want an interior kit for a 50 Chevy and they send it?

yes, they have the dimensions. we just ordered directly from them on line if I recall. absolutely no fitment problems on either car. mike

They build all the items after receipt of the order. I ordered the interior items for my 51 Bel Air . They do not list a "kit" as such rather sell a headliner-seat cover upholstery-and door panel sets. I sent them my rear arm rest panels as they offered to install the covering on them. My order was placed in April and I am hoping to have it all this month. With Hampton Coach gone and their Covid special I am sure they have been extremely busy . Keeping my fingers crossed that I get it before the end of the year as their original estimate for delivery was four months.

It might be worth a phone call. Also you might want to contact the 35 Tech Advisor to see if they have any suggestions. I am concerned about delivery time from SMS as there are lots of complaints on facebook. The shop I am going to use suggested I use SMS as their pricing is much better than having a custom local job done though I think the local shop would be as good or better . They are also booking a year or so ahead.

All the restoration related shops/stores are months backed up as they are the busiest they have ever been. Lots of people trapped at home working on their projects that have been put off for years. Tried buying lumber or building supplies? Lots of empty shelves from heavy DIY demand. Combine some Covid related supply chain slowdowns with the increased demand and we have big delays.

well went to order my 1939 master deluxe trunk material , they dont offer kit form , so you still need to sort out the install
but the big question was the discount,,,,,,,,,,,,nope they said it`s been over long ago,
im guessing before they got the shop swamped with work
so i pay retail
