Question: is there an easy way of hooking up my old spotlights that are 6 volt to a 12 volt system ? thanks, Nickels

Put 12 volt bulbs in them.

If they are sealed beam, probably direct replacements exist. Try a NAPA store, or look on ebay for the right style terminals, probably screws, and the same style of lens (window clear for spotlights).

If they are bulbs, get something that looks the same with about the same candlepower rating. Should be single contact bulb on a spotlight, most likely. The filament needs to be in the same location in the bulb or it probably wont focus, so pay attention to that.
