Need your help to determine how to reposition the slave cylinder on 61 Apache 10 - 235 engine.
The shop manual shows the contact to be the outer v-slot. Mine is now in the inner v-slot and in lined up properly.
Question: Does the mount get a spacer to line up with the outer v-slot or does it take a different slave?
Your help is appreciated.

Section 11-1 fig. 2 lists the following:

A 261 Six-Cylinder and 283 V-8

B 235 Six-Cylinder Engines

Position A is closest to the engine centerline

Position B is furthest from the engine centerline

I have a 235 Six-Cylinder engine but the fulcrum is in the A position. The slave cylinder is in alignment with this position. Shifting the fulcrum to the B position will cause the push rod to be mis aligned.

Any ideas or comments?
