Inside you will find an entry called "School is in Session". Spend some time with the flip book entry for some very interesting info about 4-cyl engines. Also search for a fellow by the name of Dean in CA. He also has some very useful info on the 4-bangers. For specific questions, come on the Forum and post them. You will get help. This is a great place to get answers to your questions and hob knob with similarly diseased individuals. ;-) Great looking car! Cool bikes too. Ray's 'School is in Session' is a great document about rebuilding a Chevy 4 cylinder engine. His rebuild was a first class, top notch build by a Master Mechanic. Three years ago, I rebuilt up a '28 engine for my truck Lurch (see the links below for more about Lurch).
