Need help. How do you remove the door glass on a 1965 chevy ii nova hardtop? The bottom channel and rail are one piece. Anyone out there have any insight or hints as to how to proceed? I have attached a copy of an exploded view of a 2 door nova. I have remove glass from door before but this setup appears to be a little different. The bottom channel is what is creating my problem.
Thanks Paul

I came across this YouTube video for a '62 Nova...he has the glass in already, but he shows you all the steps he had to do to work it back in....reversing his actions, maybe you can get some ideas... definitely a tricky little setup....good luck.
Thanks bobalouie this is helpful as it outlines some of the steps to follow.

I did the same thing for mine, and it was not easy. One of the main realizations I came to was the need for great tools to succeed. If you are doing work that requires tools alone, then one of the most basic to consider is an impact driver. As much as I love Makita as a brand, they tend to have overpriced models that are not particularly useful all the time for my needs. As a good suggestion, I think it's useful to use some review sides before choosing a drill. I have found powerdrillguru.com extremely useful for that matter and got a great discount on Amazon on the model I liked, and they were quoting it as the third-best in the market right now.
