in 1970, I bought a 65 corvette with 20K original miles, with its very nice tan leather interior and its original fuel injected drivetrain. In the last 50years, we've put less than 500 miles on this roadster Fuelie , after I rebuilt the original engine in 1980 with a spun rod bearing by the previous owner.
its the last corvette, out of over 20 I've restored and run thru NCRS, that I started on last month. today I completed the complete disassembly, took body to local auto body shop and Monday will take the frame for blasting. I got the re- rebuilt engine back from the machine shop last week. I'll have the drivetrain finished in a month or so, and then wait for the painted body to return to my shop. Should have the old girl completely back together in fall of 2020.
hopefully I'll get the old girl back together before the ground hogs start delivering my mail. mike mccagh

Good Luck Mike. Sounds like you're up to the challenge. Be sure to post photos when you're done.
