Not sure if you found a horn yet but I have a pretty decent trumpet which I think is a 32. The picture I will post below shows a ding or two which are the worst. It almost seems like with some more work it would be good to use as is. I did clean it up a little more and I have a few more pictures if you need them and are interested. Send me a pm and we can discuss.
Does anyone know the origin of of the horn on the right ? The horn with the smooth back is what is on my 32. The right one is slightly taller
The horn on the right is the horn used on 1931 chevies, but a generic version without the attaching bracket riveted in the centre rivet. Used on many other models like trucks Harley Davidsons, and many others as well.
The horn on my '32 is an incorrect ooga horn with the wrong bracket. Several years ago I found a forum member selling misc parts and I bought a pair of really nice original horns. I don't remember what I paid but I think it was about $120 for the pair. They've been sitting on the shelf in my den ever since because I can't find the correct brackets. Filling Station shows them out of stock. If anyone has a pair of brackets I'll pay any reasonable price.

I have two horn brackets that clamp on to the light bar. They are not the same but one of them might be what your looking for. Do you have a picture of what you need?
I thought there was a company offering aftermarket trumpets for the 32-33’ horns? I know a few 32’ Olds guys who purchased Chevy trumpets to find out the Olds is 2”longer than a Chevy. If you think the Chevy is hard to find, try finding the correct Olds!
Cecil Nuxoll of Spokane Wa. was making trumpets . That was years ago and the last I knew his son was selling what remained of the inventory. That was probably 5-6 years ago and the 32 trumpets were on Ebay for $600.00 for a pair.
I have a couple of pairs of trumpets in nice shape. They've been stripped for rechroming, but weren't needed for the project. Please send a PM if interested.
I know this is an old post. I have a gorgeous, near flawless pair of '32 horns I picked up from the widow of a VCCA member a couple of years ago. I don't remember what I paid but it was around $100-$120 for the pair. I've been searching for the correct brackets ever since. They're sitting on my bookcase. I would pay any fair price for a pair of left and right brackets.

The last time you posted the same question i suggested : www.leesparts.webs.com 770-938-0861 which is advertised in the G&D. Curious as to what happened - didn't have them-you misplaced the info-price too high or like myself a case of CRS.
Thanks for pointing out that I had a senior moment. They're getting closer and closer together. I did check leesparts. I'm having a real problem $50 more for the brackets than I paid for the horns. I've learned after playing with these old cars that you have to pay to play. It's still hard to swallow. I may bite the bullet and buy the brackets but I'm in no hurry to do that right now. Thanks again. BTW what's my name? Why am I here? What were we talking about?
