Join the crowd Sam though I would prefer a reasonably tidy condition.

Tony,
Do you have a Hood Ornament? Or are you looking for one? I don't understand.
Thanks

I have 2 broken ornaments and looking for a unbroken 1 that is in reasonable condition, all I have found so far are new at near $400 US then add shipping to Aus makes it $550 Aus. There has been a unchromed 1 on ebay that I may have to settle for.

Tony,
Where are yours broken? I've seen 1 with a rear mounting hole tab broke off. Make me wonder why.

What in the world is wrong with this one on eBay?

Condition and price seem to be about what one would expect.

Owing to apparent rarity and if I were looking for one, I would go for it,

Money is just a detail. If you merely stopped using ethanol, your savings based on a 15% increase in MPG would soon pay for it. Yes, some claim they experience that much difference.

Your call.

Best,

Charlie computer

Try looking at Classic Chevy Parts. They might have one less expensive.

Good luck, Mate.

Both of mine have the rear tabs broke off not that there was much holding it there to start with.

By the time US$ is converted to Aus$ then add shipping to Aus there is a big difference. I have a couple of the ebay on my watch list just havent pushed the button yet

Sam,

I just saw a recently listed one on Ebay, a bit tarnished, but under $100. It can probably be polished to look a bit better.

Here's the link:

Good luck!

Thanks jim,
I will look at it. One mounting point is snapped off the back. But it might work for what I need.
Thanks again
