Can anyone supply the replacement numbers for the front wheel, rear axle, differential, pinion shaft and propellor shaft bearings? I need to replace nearly every one on my recent project a 1931 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. The bearings are the same as the passenger models. Either ball or roller bearings are ok. Also the single or double sealed axle bearings would help.

The rear axle double seal bearings I use are FAFNER 307PP. Any bearing house can translate that number to the name brand bearing they sell. You can also use a # 7 Bearing Nut with a # W-07 Lock Washer.
Hope this is of some help. See you down the back roads.

How about the roller bearing replacements for the front wheel ball bearings in a '31? Anyone have those numbers? Is there a modern seal to replace the felt one?

The rear axle seal, the seal in the axle housing, can be replaced with a CR OIL SEAL # 11907. 1. REMOVE THE SEAL FROM THE HOUSING 2. REMOVE THE FELT AND FELT RETAINER 3. GRIND THE THREE LITTLE BUMPS OFF THAT WERE HOLDING THE FELT RETAINER IN PLACE 4. PRESS THE NEW 11907 SEAL IN PLACE AND INSTALL IN AXLE HOUSING
