I purchased a suggested price list for 1957 Chevys from Danchuk. The color codes are listed from 500 to 559. On line they are in the 800's. Such as 819 is India Ivory over Matador read. In this little pamphlet it is 536. Wondering if this was something for the order sheets in a dealership?
Thank you

The 500-559 is the option number and the 800's are the paint combination.

Thx for the response Gene. So I guess the 500 numbers, for paint, were on the order sheet in a dealership?

The number on the plate on the firewall identified the color or colors for identifing and ordering the paint.
