Has anyone had success using a carpet dye to freshen up carpet color? I have the front seat out of my '51 and found that the original carpet under the seat (still nailed in place) is much grayer than the exposed carpet and was thinking about using a carpet dye like Rit or something to "grey" it up. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Jeff

Years back I used a carpet spray paint...made for carpets. It worked well and I do not recall he name. A product like Rit dye will not work.
