Does anyone have a recommendation to send the carburetor off my 31 to for Rebuild ? . Or would it be cheaper to buy a refurbished one ? Thanks

Chipper of this site rebuilt my 1932 Confederate's Carter W-1 a few years ago. Runs and looks terrific, no issues, very reasonable price too.
If it ain't brokeā¦..fix it 'til it is.

Unless there are serious and extensive problems it will be far less expensive to have your carburetor rebuilt than purchase one already rebuilt. There are a couple of VCCA members that can do an excellent job rebuilding '31 Carburetors.

Chipper and Junk Yard Dog come to mind.
Contacting one or the other for an evaluation, based on the condition of your carb (assuming you have an original carb) would get you a better answer.
Both are members of these forums.
