A while back I mentioned having a sign that stated first in sales listing 1931 and listing every year thru 1953 except 1935. Another member stated as per his history book the first year Chevrolet sold more than Ford was 1927.I looked in my book "CHEVROLET A history From 1911. It tells me that in 1927 Ford shut down production to change over to the Model A. It further states at the that when the figures were totted up at the end on 1931 they were in First Place again.
