I wondered who would be the first to comment on my comment about mid-30s Chevys. Should have known it would be Mike. Expect Charlie to add his 2 cents. I didn't mean to offend anyone. If anyone takes my opinion as personally offensive I apologize. It was not intended.

I feel my description is relatively accurate given the transition from square to less square to rounded off bodies on the 20s to 30s Chevys. By the late 30s the basic designs were becoming more aerodynamic. That culminated with 1952 when boxiness started to again be popular and ended with the shoebox mid-50s Chevys (still some of the most popular body styles).

Notice: I didn't write that I didn't like them. Might have to add an addendum.
