My papa has a truck, (pictures below) and he told me that it is a 1936 Chevy Maple Leaf 1 1/2 ton truck. It was last running and on the road in between 94 and 98 from what I know. I am just looking to see if there is a model name or something I can use to learn more about the truck, as I am thinking of restoring it. It’s my great grandfathers truck, which I think he had since it was new. I am gonna try to put the pictures in google drive or something.

Where in Canada are you located? I know of someone in Nova Scotia that has a Maple Leaf of that vintage that is restored and is very knowledgeable about that truck.

When you can get better access to the numbers on the truck and post here my guess is 35 or 36 but I am not overly familiar with the maple leaf.

There are some youtube videos of a '36 Maple Leaf restoration. You might want to check them out.
As a family piece, I definitely encourage you to consider a restoration or renovation. It appears to be a 1936 by Chevrolet comparison.
