Does the club have the old style decals with the 4 6 8 on them that I can get to put on the windshields of my old cars? I think the new logo with some tweeking will be accepted. I looked in the G&D but didnt see where I can buy the old ones.

I don't think that the logo decals with the 4 6 8 on them are still available. One of our San Jacinto Region members has some of the logos showing the 490. She also has many in two sizes of the decals with the new logos if anyone wants some.

Ron, I downloaded the old logo a couple of years ago in .jpg format so that I could put the logo on my courtesy cards. I still have it on my computer. I can email it to you if you want to have your own decals made.

Chipper the ones with the 490 would be fine if the region is not on them and they are not too big. How would I contact them to get a couple decals? I don't know of anyone who could make them for me.

Do you have a "Fastsigns" in your area. They can make them.

Not that I know of. We had a sign shop here but he closed up and moved to Florida last fall. He used to make them for me.

I was trying to get some VCCA decals made a week or two ago here in Ohio. I would have needed permission from VCCA to have their logo duplicated. I did not do it due to the fact they have a $50.00 minimum and I only wanted one decal. The permission would be needed no matter how many I wanted.

Small shop and a small quantity likely won't care about copyrights. I've had some stickers done that were obviously not my own like "Pontiac" but yes, $50+ for anyone's time and materials is likely a given...

I have found several with the 490 and 4 6 V8 on the bottom. The boss thinks we have more. Will look around in the usual hiding places. How many and what size? Stickers or decals?

You can buy your own water slide decal paper from Testors for model cars, and print them out on your home computer. I had Paul Rozon ("1931Roadster" on Chat) photoshop my oil filter decal and air cleaner decal for me using this method. They are still in perfect shape after 1000 touring miles in 3 years.

I need 2 of them to put on the windshield of my cars so people will see them when I go to car shows. Either one will work small size.

I bought some of the decals less than six months ago from VCCA member services. You may want to contact them. I don't think they monitor VCCA Chatter much.
