I have the opportunity to acquire a 4 barrel intake manifold for free. It is Part # or casting # 3927184. I believe that it might be for a 1968 engine. True? If it is for a 1968, what is the correct casting number for a 1966 283 with a 4 barrel carb. What would be difference with the 3927184 intake placed on a 1966 283 engine?

I would prefer to acquire the correct manifold if possible for the 1966 283.

It is a 69 350 intake. It would not work to well with a 283. You would need to use a Q-jet carb. Way too much fuel for a 283. You can't miss it the secondary openings are much larger than the primary. Stay clear of those The one you are looking for is cast 3882858 for a 4GC. Try Steve L. the TA #48 in Maine, even though he is a big block guy I think he would have one, or know of one
