Looking for a good replacement trunk lid for my 1950 chevy convertible, seen one that states 49 50 51 chevy olds Pontiac . can anyone advise if these years and models are the same

I'm not sure what you mean by replacement trunk. The trunk, or boot as you call it in the UK, is part of the car and not normally considered "replaceable".

That make more sense. You might put an ad in the Parts Wanted forum. You might also check ebay for someone parting out a '50. Good luck with your search.

The lid fits 1949-1952 Chevrolet coupes, convertibles and the Bel Air pillarless hardtop. Not 2 or 4 door sedans.
Would fit a Pontiac, Olds 1949-1950 76, 1949-1950 88 of the same bodies it fit for a Chevrolet. The Chevrolet version will have much less of a problem when it comes to filling holes for trim ,etc.
