When LeBaron-Bonney went bankrupt they took my money that I had paid for door panels, seat upholstery, carpet and top kit for my 1928 Chevrolet 2 door Coach National. So now I need to find alternate sources for those items. Does anyone know who can supply these? Thanks, Todd
Todd, do you have the originals? I am currently trying to work something out with a marine upholster to fabricate interiors for me and I’m also looking at possibly getting in the the fabrication myself for a while as there’s a chance LBHC might reorganize under new ownership. There has been an official offer and that offer was excepted by the presiding judge but the sale cannot go through until sometime in December as there is a time frame where others can make higher offers. I have sent some correspondence to the possible new owner trying to get answers to the question if they are intending to offer full interiors in the future and if so, for what makes and years. I haven’t heard back yet. I was a recommended installer for LBHC and installed quite a few of their interiors and roofs. I lots a fair amount of potential installations as the customers couldn’t purchase their interiors. I too would like to see these interior offerings come back as soon as possible.
Did you file a claim to get your money back when they went chapter 7?
Re: Chistech. If you do set up for interiors I can help you out with 1929 Sedan patterns. I'll be doing mine and have already rebuilt the front seat just need to get the covers sewn up. Once I do my Cabriolet I can provide that too.
