My wife, Sherry, and I have owned Chevy Nomads since 1965. Danchuk Manufacturing has an annual Christmas Photo Contest. This year I submitted our 1956 Nomad. Out of the 1000's of entries submitted ours was not only selected as one of the eight finalists, the photo was also chosen for the cover of their Christmas Catalog. The finalists receiving the most votes from the public will win a $500 gift card. The vote will begin in a couple of weeks and run through mid January. I'm asking all my VCCA buddy to take a couple of minutes and vote for us. You can vote at: https://danchukusa.com/xmas-photo-contest-2019. I will update this post when the voting starts. Yep got my vote too. I went to a local car show last fall with my 32 Special sedan,a lady came up to me and said it was down to my car and one other as to which one would be pictured on the dash plack next year. It would be nice to be picked.

Thanks RonPenn. Yeah, that is my favorite part of this hobby when other people appreciate your car. I posted this on this site and on the AACA forum and I am show committee chairman for the Fort Lauderdale AACA so I emailed it to 700 of my closest car buddies here in South Florida. Right now I'm kinda likin' my chances. Thanks to all who have voted so far.

I need your help guys. Thanks to those who already voted. But, as of 12/3 I'm in 5th place. I haven't seen any other threads on this topic so I'm assuming I'm the only VCCA member in the running. If everyone on the forum votes I should win by a landslide. I think if you go to the link provided you'll agree my photo is the most creative. Well, guys we tried. I appreciate those who voted. As of now I'm in 6th place more than 130 votes behind the leader with only 2 days left to vote. Of the hundreds of members of the Forum 8 voted. Win or lose it's been fun.

Well guys. We gave it the old college try. Unfortunately we got our noses bloodied. Something like 1,100 to 100. Well I'm so bummed out about it I went out and bought this to cheer myself up. 327 4-speed. I pick it up Monday.
