need to get a better cluster gear for a 50 trans case (am using a 53 trans setup) the gear i removed has a bushing type cluster gear . i have a chance to get a 57 trans my book says 40-57 are the same gear . but have looked online and have seen 2 different types of cluster one with bushing and one with needle bearings. question is will either one work in the 50 case or do i have to stay with bushing type that i already have and what are the chances that the 57 will have the bushing type cluster gear it seems to me that the 57 will have the the newer style needle bearings thanks andy gave up on this idea no info needed couldnt delete
