The shocks on my 1950 Chevy 2 door coupe styleline delux are very stiff riding. Are there any shocks that will make the ride softer?
Thanks

It may be the springs that are causing the stiff ride. How many leafs are in the spring-7 or 8?

If it has modern gas chargedshocks it will ride harder. I switched to old fashion non-gas shocks on my 1950 and made a big difference, especially at the rear.
They had a rather firm ride when new.
also if over 30 pounds in the tires will make the ride stiff. I run 27 pounds cold, original called for 24 pounds cold.
