OP birtch Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 37 ca	The shocks on my 1950 Chevy 2 door coupe styleline delux are very stiff riding. Are there any shocks that will make the ride softer? Thanks

I switched to old fashion non-gas shocks on my 1950 and made a big difference, especially at the rear. They had a rather firm ride when new. also if over 30 pounds in the tires will make the ride stiff. I run 27 pounds cold, original called for 24 pounds cold.
