chevy50jim Oil Can Mechanic Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 535 Denver, Colorado	If you or a friend has a running 40s or 50s Chevrolet, unscrew the speedo cable from the working speedo in the dash and screw it onto your questionable speedo and go for a drive and see if it works.
