Is there a difference in the color of a 37 banjo button medallion to the 38 medallion? I was told there was a difference.

The 1937 is the marbled brown, same color as the accessory steering wheel rim.
The 1938 is a light tan/gray like the dash knobs on a Master Deluxe.

I know the buttons are different, I was asking about the metal medallion that sits in the center of the horn button.

My38's is the gray/tan. I would agree with Chev Nut the 37 should be brown.

I think he is asking about the medallion that goes inside the horn button, not the button it's self.

these are pictures from the http://qualityrestorations.com/ website.

I don't know if they are accurate.

from the pictures I see throughout the internet, looks like the 1937 is darker brown, and the 1938 appears to be a lighter taupe color. have you checked with the 1937/1938 tech advisors?

Those center buttons look nothing like the originals. Not just the color.

No, I haven’t checked with the advisors. But I will reach out to them if I can’t get an answer here.
