Yes, I am not a great wood worker, but I managed to make new wood sills, front pillar wood, all of the top wood and dash wood, and most door wood for my '33 coupe just using the old rotted stuff for patterns along with pictures found in books. That was in 1980 and the car is still working good. Is it perfect.....probably not but the doors close and work good and the top doesn't leak a drop.

Thanks for the encouraging words fellas.. OP, sorry, I didn’t mean to steal your thread, you have a Beautiful pickup, and I’m looking at your pictures for some reference of how to start on mine.. thank you all. My doors are sagging big time, my posts are gone. Would it be alright to take my doors off in order to start replacing the floor (seems to be the easiest..) Also, what kind of wood should I use? Thank you all!

White ash will give best results for your wood body. The whole body needs to come apart to replace the floor. Before doing anything you should brace and support the body until everything lines up then measure everything and document every angle you can before dismantling anything. Do drawings, sketches etc. so when you start to put it together you have some kind of guide. My 29 was taken apart by my father without doing any of that and has been the greatest challenge in getting it back together.
