Matt.
I installed the instrument decal set from Chevs of the 40's (or the Filling Station) on my 1940 instrument cluster and odometer. As you stated, they are black and white. But, I wonder if a local decal company or sign company could reproduce some of these vinyl numbers that are brown and white? (Bring a black and white set to them) I believe the set is around $14.
Also, I'm not sure how similar the 1937 and 1940 odometers are, but, there is an excellent technical article on rebuilding an odometer on the Stovebolt Forum. That's what I used to rebuild mine. If you study this technical article and take your time, it is very doable.
https://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/gauges/speedometer/index.htmlIf black and white numbers work for you and the size is correct for the 1937, the instrument decals mentioned above were well made and look great on my 40.
Good luck,
Curt
