Wondering if anyone can tell me if a 235 6cyl and 3 speed tranny out of a 54' Belair will bolt into my 58' Delray without having to do major revamping ? My Delray was originally a 6cyl 3speed.

The 1954 engine will not work due to motor mount attachment.
The transmission will not work.period.

Water pump will sit too high too,any 235 from 55 to 62 will bolt right in.
