So I’m rebuilding my Canadian 44 1/2 ton pick up with a 3 speed. Put in a new clutch from a major vendor and it for the most part looked pretty even with the old one that was in the truck (truck sat for a long time so I have no idea of it’s past). Seems like the throw out bearing has a lot of movement before it contacts the pressure plate. With the adjuster as tight as I can get it the bearing just moves the pressure plate when the pedal is below the floor board. I did a lot of searching around and seems this is a popular problem but no real answers that seem to fit my issue.
What am I missing? Anyone have a picture of the pedal to clutch fork linkage set up?

Do you have the correct T.O bearing? should be Should be 1 78" long. Incorrect one is 1 3/32" long

Just to clarify where are the measurements from? Overall length?
