Good morning all, I rebuilt a fuel pump for this 1933 chevy master. I installed it in the car and it dosent work. Would someone have a schematic showing the break down of each part and how it goes together> I'm thinking I might not have assembled right. Thank you.

The most common problem with those fuel pumps is warping of the casting. It is caused by the pressure from the glass bowl attaching assembly pulling down on the casting. Most rebuild kits contain a neoprene circular gasket that is too rigid to compress and fill the gap. Often a thick cork gasket will seal well enough so the pump will work. Carefully heating the casting with a proper support can flatten it back to its original position. Temperatures above 400 deg. F can destroy the casting.
