Anyone ever seen something like this in the two pictures on a 1938 Coupe or similar year? Came with a friends car and can't identify it...
It's around 2' long.

Looks like part of the accessory rear fold down bumper guard. Do a Google search.

That is the rear accessory folding bumper guard brace for probably a 1939, 1940, 1941, 1942 or 1946-1948......all different.
