Vintage can be any year or group of years you want it to be Pre Depression, Post Depression, Pre War, Post War, The 50s, You name it. They are all of some vintage.

The same holds true with Antique or Historic. The state of OHIO says a vehicle can have Historic license if it is 25 years old. This varies from state to state.

Here in New South Wales,Australia we used to have these car age categories:

Edwardian pre 1918,Veteran up to December 31st 1918,Vintage from January 1st 1919 to December 31st 1930,Post vintage/pre war,1931 to 1939,post war & classic '46 and up then the rest.
Now as your car becomes 30 years old fro the date of manufacture,it's eligible to go on the new "Historic" registration scheme, and we have the situation where owners of older cars don't/won't get them out of the shed and drive them as they either don't want to try and keep pace with modern everyday cars,or they want all the "creature comforts" of modern driving, but at a cheaper registration cost.
